Professor of Microbiology: State University New York Adirondack
Holly Ahern is professor of microbiology at SUNY Adirondack. Holly holds a B.S. degree and national board certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists – ASCP in clinical laboratory science, and an M.S. degree in Molecular Biology from the University at Albany (SUNY). She is the recipient of awards for both teaching and scholarship. Named an ASM/NSF Biology Scholar in 2008, Ahern is actively involved in the scholarship of biology education, to improve teaching and learning through evidence-based practice. She is an author of articles published in scientific and trade journals, and laboratory textbooks and textbook ancillary materials that have national distribution. As a result of her family’s personal battle with Lyme disease, she co-founded the non-profit organization Lyme Action Network, which advocates for Lyme disease concerns, particularly patients’ rights and the need for increased funding for Lyme disease research. Holly is an organizer of Congressional forums on Lyme and currently serves on the advisory board for the NY State Senate Task Force on Lyme and Tick-borne Diseases.

Bobi Seredich is a recognized speaker, author, trainer and successful entrepreneur specializing in leadership development. Bobi is the co-founder of the Southwest Institute for Emotional Intelligence and the President, CEO and majority partner of EQ Inspirations, LLC. In 2001 she founded Equanimity, Inc. also known as EQ Speakers. It fast became a top speaker bureau that booked hundreds of speakers with large Fortune 500 clients. EQ Speakers was sold in 2012 and continues to be a leader in the industry. Linda Peterson has over 30 years of experience in development and operational management of ambulatory healthcare organizations. Her key strengths are in the design and development of new business and product lines, mergers and acquisitions in the ambulatory and home care service sectors, management services organizations and integrated delivery systems. Linda’s Executive and Senior management experience includes regional management and consulting to health systems in Ambulatory Care, including Executive Director for Ambulatory Care, The Joint Commission (TJC) Corporate Director, Development, for HealthSouth; Regional Director/Consultant for Health Inventures and 15 years in Home Care. Linda is a cited expert and published author in several national publications, and an honorary speaker for ASCA, ASGE, AAACN, ACOS, Becker’s ASC Conference, and the AHA. She has served as Adjunct faculty for the University of Phoenix Online and Ottawa University and is currently a subject matter expert and faculty member of Grand Canyon University College of Nursing and Ken Blanchard School of Business. Tammy Crawford is the Founder and Executive Director of Focus On Lyme (FOL). She has created a strategic research partnership to develop LymeSeq, a new DNA based diagnostic test for Lyme disease with unparalleled accuracy.
Tammy is also the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Leadership Solutions, Inc. (LSI), a legacy company dedicated to changing lives through entertainment, education and philanthropy. Before founding Leadership Solutions, Inc., Tammy served as the Chairman & CEO of Leadership Network Corporation (LNC), an event company serving elite corporate leaders throughout the globe. Tammy founded LNC with her husband, Thomas K. Crawford, to help cultivate business relationships for leaders in a chaotic world that has become disconnected despite innovative communication technology. Tammy and Tom also founded the Leadership Children’s Foundation, a philanthropic organization that exists to help preserve childhood and improve the quality of life for young people across the nation. Over the past decade, LCF has raised over $2 million for charities that include the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Childhelp, The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and many others. Tammy currently serves as Chairman on the foundation’s board. Before joining Leadership Network Corporation full time, Tammy worked for Baxter Travenol, a medical supply company, as the West Coast Territory Manager, overseeing a $3 million territory. She also served Baxter as an accounting manager, and headed up their human resources department.

Tony Felice is the President of Tony Felice PR & Marketing. His 28-year career has taken him from the halls of the U.S. Congress to the studios of Hollywood California. He has worked on public policy, strategy and media relations for large multi-national corporations and small businesses alike. He has advanced children’s causes including bullying prevention, vision screening and the arts. Felice’s volunteer work includes serving as Phoenix First Lady Nicole Stanton’s communication advisor, Board Secretary of Local First Arizona, and board positions for StopBullyingAZ, Pride Fund of the Arizona Community Foundation formerly serving chair of the GPGLCC and Phoenix Art Museum Contemporary Art Forum. He was a founding member of the entrepreneurial collaborative co-working space Co+Hoots, located in downtown Phoenix. Felice graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a BIS in management, science and communications. Felice was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2014 after a two year search for answers that seemed to indicate early multiple sclerosis or parkinson’s disease. He is currently undergoing treatment and though some symptoms remain he getting closer to full remission.
Lani Calbert has devoted 20 years to philanthropic efforts within the Phoenix, AZ community. As Chairwoman of McCarthy Heart Hats from 2007-2013, she led fundraising efforts with the benefits supporting organizations throughout Arizona, including: UMOM, American Heart Association, Family Promise, Gabriel’s Angels, American Cancer Society, Legacy Foundation and St. Mary’s Food Bank, just to name a few. Lani’s most favored activities were planning and constructing two homes for Habitat for Humanity.
Lani was the 2009 recipient of the Heart of Business award for Most Outstanding Company Project by the Phoenix Business Journal. In addition to her McCarthy Heart Hats work, Lani has been involved with the Arizona Fire Fighters Memorial, served as a member of the ASU Women & Philanthropy, Co-Chair to the JDRF One-Night Gala and organizer of the Paradise Valley Country Club golf tournaments.
